HIGHSCHOOL SWEETHEARTS

Life seems to be a constant rollercoaster ride, with slow shaky inclines, fast heart racing declines followed by sharp turns and death defying drops.

You're probably wondering about the coaster references! My husband and I met at Crystal Beach Park 35 years ago as teenagers working as ride operators. We were high school sweethearts and more importantly, best friends.

So why are we unbuckling our seatbelts and jumping out of the ride?

A few years back Sam was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer that really put our lives into a tailspin (much like the tea cups!) and thanks to some great advancements in cancer treatments, remission (dare I say, cured?) was achieved. This really changed our perspective on life and we decided we weren't going to wait until 65 to start our retirement.

Now we just need to find a way to make it happen.

We’ll be taking you along on our wild ride through our blog and youtube videos, so join us, and don’t forget to buckle up!
